This site is dedicated to MOTURIST sidecars.

In February 1983 I mounted a MOTURIST P1 sidecar to my Moto Guzzi California II. To ensure good handling characteristics I made some modifications to the bike. Most of these mods were designed by Ed Pols, who also designed and constructed the sidecar. I did the work in the Do-It-Yourself workshop of Ed's motorcycle store MOTORTOER in Amsterdam. I couldn’t have done this job without the help and advise of Ed and his co-workers, and many of his friends and customers. Not only did I learn a lot during that week when I build the outfit, I also had a great time. I still think back of those days with warmth and sympathy. I dedicate this web site to Ed Pols and all the people at MOTORTOER who helped me build a great combination.

This site was launched on September 25, 2002 and has since been supplemented and expanded.
